Dear all, Below are the details for this week's physical CCA training. We apologise for the confusion; this is the most updated plan.
Date: 7th July 2023
Reporting Venue: Foyer 2
Time: 1500 hours to 1730 hours
As a repeated reminder, bring along your 1 litre water bottles as we have reminded you during the holidays, as this is for your own health and wellbeing. We will be conducting spot checks for anyone who has failed to bring their 1 litre water bottle, so do make sure all your squadmates have brought theirs along.
Batch 53: Attire: PT Kit Sec 1s, you will be revising your dressing (kekanan lurus) and dismissal (keluar baris) drills, as well as learning new turning drills (kekiri and kekanan pusing). We have observed good progress on the execution of these drills from last training, so keep up the good work! After that, you will be having a PT session to improve your fitness. You will also be going through a lecture on the basics of CSI. A reminder to finish your assigned PT homework for this week. Batch 52: Attire: PT Kit Sec 2s, to start off, you will be having a boot polishing tutorial, so please bring along your boots, Kiwi polish can, and polish cloth. Next, we will have a CSI lecture and a PT session. If you do not know the proper form for any of the following exercises: 1. Push-ups,
2. Sit-ups,
3. Planks,
Please check with your squadmates. Lastly, we will be having a training for your 3rd Class WOC, which most, if not all of you will be retaking very soon. It would be good to revise your full turning and marching drills.
Batch 51:
Attire: PT Kit Sec 3s, you will be revising and learning key rifle drills necessary for your muster parade (julang, baring, and angkat senjata). You will also be going through a semi-intense PT workout, and starting on your Homefront Security course, which is compulsory for your promotion to SSGT. Report at the CL bunk by 1425 (both FIs and non-FIs) and bring writing materials along for the HFS course.
