Below are the details for the physical CCA training. This is our first training of 2024, and we hope to welcome all of you back to training!
Date: 5th January 2023
Reporting Venue: Foyer 2
Time: 1500 hours to 1800 hours
Batch 53:
Attire: Full Uniform (bring PT Kit)
Sec 2s, as you were instructed on the last training, we expect you to have brushed up on your static and turning drills, as well as read up on the new marching drills, which will be taught soon. Your 3rd class is looming up soon, so we expect full cooperation during the first segment of the day, which will be a drill session revising all your static drills, full turning drills, as well as dismissal and right dressing. Afterwards, you will be going through a PT session.
Batch 52:
Attire: Full Uniform
Sec 3s, great to see you finally in long pants. Welcome to Upper Sec! Those who have not attained their 3rd class badge will be clearing their WOC and UI sessions this training, so prepare accordingly. Meanwhile, the rest of you will be going through rifle drills (Sedia, Senang-diri, Rusok Senjata, Hormat Senjata, Turun senjata, and Kekanan lurus). Do remember to bring along your learning devices for this training, as it will be required for the target trainings following the drills. You are expected to brief those absent due to OC on what was covered during the training.
Batch 51:
Attire: Full Uniform (bring PT Kit)
Sec 4s, you will be learning a new set of advanced drills, namely pacing in fixed steps forwards and backwards (langkah kehadapan/kebelakang gerak), as well as revising your slow march drills (perlahan jalan). This will take the form of online-facilitated learning, so you are to bring your learning devices to training. Additionally, given your upcoming PT test, we will be giving you a tough PT session to prepare you accordingly.
